Good picture, no sound z Turn up the volume by pressing the VOL + button on the

remote or on the side of the TV set

Audio noise z Move away the infrared transceiver from the TV until the

noise is eliminated.

Cannot gain enough volume when

using a cable box

z Increase the volume of the cable box using the cable

boxes remote control.

Sound volume seems weak or

insufficient

z The TVs audio might be set to" SAP" or " MONO", when it

might be better set to " STEREO". If already set to

"STEREO", switch to" MONO" (which may reduce

background noise during weak stereo broadcasts) by

pressing the MTS button on the remote control.
